If you wear a short beard kinda like this (picture is not me), I got frugal-pro advice for gear

Skip all the consumer products and get the gear barbers use in their shop:

Wahl Magic cordless razor - about $95 (price went up $15 over last few years)

Andis ProFoil - about $60

Phillips One Blade (this deal) - Not used in barber shop but perfect replacement for edge trimmer which can easily hurt skin

Use Whal Magic Cordless to cut main area of beard down to size, then (if hair is long) set to zero and get lower neck and upper cheeks.

Use Phillips one blade only on lower neck, under nose on top of mustache, upper cheeks

Use Profoil to get skin completely clean and bare on lower neck, under nose and upper cheeks


By reducing down like this you the use phillips one for a very short amount of time on already very short hairs. Same story with the profoil. Doing it this way makes the shave go fast, The blades last near forever, and the blades are in their sharp state for a long time.

I'm so happy with my setup.

If not ready to see my 'wisdom' I recommend to pay attention and take note to what razors and tools your barber is using.

I'm in the mobile link and if I scroll down I see lime green big box with the sign up for coupon code, I received the email within a minute or two (check your spam folder). Once I gained the promo code the blades have options for subscribe price and a box to click for one time purchase options under that option the blade 2 pack shows for $24.99 then checkout with promo code and reduces it to $14.99 free shipping.

The blades come with a reminder for this offer. I signed up in November but was never able to apply the discount. I may have been trying to apply it to the subscription price, which only discounts the blades 15%.

This prompted me to re-try as a one-time purchase, and everything worked described. Thank you!

What a shit show. Got code from my email, on mobile I couldn't finish purchase due to a "promo code error", with any payment option. Went to desktop, copied code, now it says "invalid code", lol.

Will try again tomorrow, and see.

Make sure there isn't an empty space at the beginning of the promo code. When I first copied and pasted the promo code from the email into the promo entry box it returned invalid as well. I removed the empty space at the beginning and it worked fine.

Unfortunately, I checked that. Before promo and after, still won't accept.
I seemed like it was going to work the first time on mobile, it showed the discount. It didn't error out until clicking pay. Now it won't take it at all.
