'14 crv. At ~30k started shaking on gentle acceleration at 20-25mph speed. Sometimes really bad and sometimes nothing at all. We thought it was mostly when cold so i left at dealer over night then came early am and we drove with tech. Tech felt it, connected to pc scanner. Nothing came up. Dealer offered to reflash trans twice. I refused to pay for warranty service. I read reflashing fixes the shudder for a year but then it comes back. Proper way to do it is to replace the torque converter. I've been fighting with honda for years. They refuse to do anything. I'm not touching the car either. I have to sue honda but dealer says i need to do diagnostic first. Whatever code comes up, if anything, then that's what dealer will do. If no error codes, like before, dealer can't do anything. It's been over 3 years the shudder is still there but it's not so bad now and only felt at near 30mph on gentle acceleration. Regardless of time of day or temperature. I can't make a case unless some code comes up and even then honda will say it's not a honda authorized certified scanner bullshit so i'm on my own. Need to make a decision. Around 57k miles.
Got it, there a few things in the honda forum that people do. But we are talking about a complete different engine and tranny. Best advice if u haven't done it, reach out to the crv community. https://www.crvownerscl
