One note, when applying the MLK Day free shipping coupon, it has a habit of disappearing from your cart after it is applied during checkout process (maybe if you have to login?) so make sure it is there and applying before submitting your order!

I was on the fence on whether to buy at this price thinking it was a bare tool

It's interesting that they paired this up with 2 x 2ah batteries. The manual states that for best performance use batteries 3ah or higher
Also, it looks like even though this is cordless, it does container a pressure cannister that you may need to periodically recharge with a compressor

There is a misprint on the website and it is only supposed to be the bare tool. If you look at the Ridgid and Home Depot sites, all of the kits start with R09894B then the kits have a "-" and a second number after. The part number for the kit with 2 x 2ahbatteries is Model #R09894B-AC8400802P.
I ordered online and went to the store for pickup. If you go to the store like I did, you'll see they don't actually stock any kits, just the bare tool.
I showed my online order confirmation and the website. They had to call for support. The person on the phone told them to give me a dual battery kit and apply it to their store scrap. They also told them to send an email so the problem gets fixed.
When I went to register for the LSA, you have to use R09894B for the tool and you'll get LSA. You have to use AC8400802P for the dual battery kit and you only get 3 years. 😕
YMMV.
PS I've been watching for them to sell this. The guy at the store said this is the first shipment of these he's ever seen.

Where are you seeing anything about a pressure canister?
edit: apparently after 50k nails you may need to top off an internal tank.
...as a DIYer, pretty sure my "lifetime" will come before the 50k nail mileage hits lol
