I bought this and the Blue Cedar based on recommendations and Amazon ratings. Both Colognes have a strong alcohol smell that overpowers the fragrance itself.

I'm not mad, especially for $13, but in no way is this anywhere near as good as something like Y or even most Burberrys, so keep value expectations low.

Just wanted to throw in my two cents - the "Spice & Black Vanilla" one is vastly superior to this "Bourbon & Oak" one on sale. Both smell very similar but the former is just hugely better in longevity, complexity, appeal, etc.

Amazon alters prices based on availability so it's clear more people rebuy the Vanilla Spice one than the Bourbon Oak one. The one on sale is still alright but I'll never rebuy it.
