What's the regular price? It doesn't say on the Amazon product page.

Those are not available, but same 3pc is here [amazon.com] for $8.99.
The difference is they are not lockable like the OP and the OP is not connectable like those higher priced.
About 90% of the time, I just transfer with a compass, but I am old school. I have never found any of these low end contour gauges particularly accurate with corners and especially with multiple corners like door jambs. For door jambs, I just set a piece of whatever scrap flooring against and use an oscillating tool that is then perfect with no concerns of contractions/movement leaving a little gap.

Oh, maybe, but too time consuming and you have to be parallel with the flooring that is coming to it. Just use an oscillating tool and bury the flooring under the jamb.
The OP 5" is just another tool that you have if you need it ---such as in tight places something larger will not fit. I am not opposed to it, as after all, it is lockable, but I prefer the connectable versions with smaller metal pins for more accuracy that do cost more. Then again, if close, there is not much a caulk gun cannot conceal.

Yes 10" would offer much more benefits and be a pleasure to work with……
