They said they made a mistake in their shipping costs, and then emailed everyone to ask them to PayPal them more money or offered to send a lower quality light for the same price. Then they accidentally leaked everyone's emails and names publicly.

Amen! After that SC31 Pro FIASCO Sofirn pulled 4 weeks ago, I won't buy anything from them....EVER!....no matter what the price.

It's pretty much been posted at this price (+/-$3) every month for a year.

Great flashlight, great UI, great tint in 4000k with high CRI.

The bad: This should be it's standard price. Sofrin are notorious shills. They pay people the cost of the flashlight to review it and not divulge it's a paid review. They've reached out to me no fewer than twenty times due to my history of flashlight reviews. Again great flashlights but shady business practices.

I own around 10 sofrin lights including their lanterns.

FYI, I toned down my typically overly-thorough and detailed description, because I figured that it turned people off; but I would like to say that this SP36 BLF is a genuinely great light and, at $47, is a great value. If you don't own a really nice flashlight, if you want something that basically puts out a wall of light and can light up a massive area, this is a great choice and it would make a great gift.

I have two of these and my dad has one. This is an amazing light. The only negative is the weight. If you understand this going into ownership all else will more than amaze you. The magnitude of light that this puts out cannot be explained. I have yet to show someone this light's ability without an awestruck response. I am a Sofirn fan. I own almost all of their models and love all of them. This was the one that got me started with Sofirn. Price is pretty good. They have increased over the past year and it is hard to get it below $50. Batteries that come with it are good so don't second guess their quality.

You can get the PRO for like 5 or 6 bucks more direct from Sofrin. I have it great lite. Wish it could act a USB power bank tho

I have a pro on the way from sofirn right now, but I've heard the emitters are nicer in this one, plus my pro is coming in 5000k and I want a 4000k. I want Anduril 2 because of the simple/muggle mode is a lot friendlier if I have to hand it to someone.

Quick answer is Pro is 8,000 lumens with SST40 emitters, the BLF version is 5,000 lumens with LH351D emitters, and comes in 4000k and 2700k which are a more warm (yellow) color.

Amazon reviews are often laugh-worthy. Look at this one star review. Dude has no idea what he is taking about and surely never held a flashlight of this caliber.... trying to hold the light with 9 minutes on turbo laugh out loud

"the power button always ON, even the flash light powered OFf, it has "green" light ON at all time.
tried to request return and get refund, but failed, seller said this is non-refundable product.
the product itself is very very hot. cannot hold it in the hand if it powered on around 9 minutes."
