They said they made a mistake in their shipping costs, and then emailed everyone to ask them to PayPal them more money or offered to send a lower quality light for the same price. Then they accidentally leaked everyone's emails and names publicly.

It's pretty much been posted at this price (+/-$3) every month for a year.

Great flashlight, great UI, great tint in 4000k with high CRI.

The bad: This should be it's standard price. Sofrin are notorious shills. They pay people the cost of the flashlight to review it and not divulge it's a paid review. They've reached out to me no fewer than twenty times due to my history of flashlight reviews. Again great flashlights but shady business practices.

I own around 10 sofrin lights including their lanterns.

Bought this light directly from the firm via SD perhaps some 2-3 months ago or so. I believe I paid a little less than this, around $41. or $42. As stated elsewhere, it's difficult to imagine how bright this sucker is.

I have two as well and I am about to order an additional one at this price. I use them both all the time and have a number of other good lights that rarely get used anymore b/c of how much better these always seem to perform.

Side note - a quick double-tap of the button ramps the output up to the max intensity, which will kill any bug in a couple of seconds as long as the beam is focused on it and the light is no more than about 8-10" away from it. Lightning fast, so you don't hear their screams too long, without any bug guts to clean up off the ground afterwards either.

I have a few other lights that are all Anduril 2, so it would be nice to have them all the same user interface for me.

Plus Anduril 2 gives you the ability to use the light as a powerbank.

Awesome light. I am personally waiting for Anduril 2 version from AliExpress. If I didn't care about Anduril 2 I would be all over this.

I have the SP33 v3 which is an amazing light by itself. And it's only half the lumen of this one. I'm super tempted but just can't get another light. Ugh.

It should be noted how large this light is. Good for car camping, but way to big to fit in a pocket easily.

I much prefer their IF25a in 4k color. I have both and pretty much never use the SP36.
