Walmart has weird pricing. Around October of last year, they were selling Refurb M1's for:

12.9" Pro 128GB (Demo) - $365
12.9" Pro 256GB - $485
11" Pro 512GB - $416

They came in and out of stock for a good month. The thread was relegated to the Deal Talk forum so not many people saw it.

I bought a 256gb refurb from Walmart for $699 a while back. Box was plastic wrapped, but opening you can tell it had been used since it didn't have the original plastic on the iPad. It was in mint condition and was only used for a week at that point and could still be registered for AppleCare+. It's a decent deal to save some $ if you want it and you can return for whatever reason.

Yes I paid $699 for a 12.9 it had been going on since November. If you look at past deals it was in the conversation. It would go in and out of stock a lot. I think it was an error but no one at Walmart caught on til now.

Keep checking back if you're still interested. I bought a 128gb 11" on jan12 for the same price. They have been going in and out of stock regularly since then.

I got one for that price in November as well. Walmart raised the prices on these.

Yup can confirm, also got one that price in Nov. was actually looking for a refurbished mini, but couldn't beat the price in the pro so ended up with the big iPad. Price has gone up a bit it seems

I just received the 12.9" 256GB in the mail from Walmart. It was in a nondescript black box. The iPad and the charging cable were the only items in the box. The iPad itself was wrapped in bubble wrap but no apple box. The charger was in a zip lock bag. The Ipad physically looks brand new. It's just freezing so going to let it warm before turning it on.
