Walmart has weird pricing. Around October of last year, they were selling Refurb M1's for:

12.9" Pro 128GB (Demo) - $365
12.9" Pro 256GB - $485
11" Pro 512GB - $416

They came in and out of stock for a good month. The thread was relegated to the Deal Talk forum so not many people saw it.

I bought a 256gb refurb from Walmart for $699 a while back. Box was plastic wrapped, but opening you can tell it had been used since it didn't have the original plastic on the iPad. It was in mint condition and was only used for a week at that point and could still be registered for AppleCare+. It's a decent deal to save some $ if you want it and you can return for whatever reason.

Hit refurbished iPad jackpot here. Ordered iPad Air blue. Got iPad in original box, perfect condition, warranty started 1/11/22. Asically a new iPad. 399 not bad. Also ordered a 9th gen and box looks sealed but I'm prob not even gonna open it cuz at 279 wasn't a great deal. Prefer the air anyway

sigh, i ordered an ipad and got a bag of chip, walmart won't do anything because they said someone signed for it (which is not true, i have doorcam footage) now i have to dispute my cc and dispute the signature with fedex, what a joke

Received a 11 pro today. Perfect condition, coverage started 12/25/2021 so it was definitely a Christmas return. Had the box with charger and cable untouched. Great experience for me.

I highly doubt this. Are you confusing it with 2020 or lower models?
