The gigabyte laptop I have is hands down the most annoying laptop I've ever owned. The drivers are horse s#!t and buggy, to the point where it will literally BSOD mid-game if I have the fan control drivers installed. If I don't have the control drivers installed the fans are noisy as hell and never turn off. Lose lose scenario.
I've had to hack together modified graphics drivers and heavily modify the thermal chart in ThrottleStop which took HOURS just so the machine ran cool enough to game long term.
All in all. I would NOT recommend this brand unless someone can verify they've fixed these issues in the current gen laptops. And I have no reason to believe they have as I've seen the same issues reported on all models since my laptop the 15x AERO came out
