I did read one review that made a good case about how this speaker may not actually be USB type-C compliant and that you have to use the included cable for it to register and charge properly which is pretty surprising. In the same review, they did praise the sound quality and design so it must not have been a deal breaker for them. Ultimately, the charging cable issue was enough for me to justify cancelling this impulse buy. If I was actually in the market for another Bluetooth speaker, I think this would be a solid investment.
