7 is out, that's nice.
Looks like standard version now includes what was in 6 pro - memory, maps, music, wi-fi.
The only difference now is size + solar + sapphire options.
Thanks for making it a little bit easier this time.

Good deal for those who needs it now.
I would wait a little bit because I am poor and cant afford even sale price.

Don't worry. Rich folks can buy them now.

Anyone have any feedback on 7 versus 6? I think the 6 will sell a bunch in price.
. Is 7 that much of upgrade? Between Corus and Harmon

Does anyone know if company discounts, for 20%, (not sure the name of their discount program) stack with a coupon like this?

Nope. It doesn't stack. I tried it before.

Must be only for new Miles App installs as I have the App and nothing comes up when I search for Garmin.

Looks to be the case, nothing comes up for me either.

There are usually new codes you can purchase in the miles app for around 100 miles. They are in the rewards other category. They come out weekly if you already purchased one. I've been using the app for over a year and see them all the time.

From a core functionality standpoint, probably not much of an upgrade if you're on anything newer than the 5 (non-Plus) series. That said, there are quite a few quality of life upgrades. A flashlight on the X, touchscreen (which would be nifty in maps), improved accuracy and durability of HR sensor, ability to update activity profiles via phone (though I wonder if they'll push this to older models too), etc. Of course, I'm only speaking to what I feel are the most valuable updates for ME, you may have differing opinions. Check out DC Rainmaker for super detailed deep dives of both the 7 and the Epix Gen 2.

I'm still on the 5X. Really want on-board music, but have been waiting for the GPS+Music battery life to increase significantly over 15 hours to upgrade. That's sort of my mental minimum. My use case is primarily for running. I run ultramarathons, and 9-12 hours is a typical finish time for me on a 50-mile course, depending on the terrain; that said, I've had races where I just don't feel so good, and end up down in the 14-hour range. My worst nightmare is a full run not being logged (if it ain't on Strava, it didn't happen). The 6X Pro technically was "up to" 15 hours with GPS+Music. But given that all my prior watches came in well under their claimed battery life values (especially my 5X), that wasn't enough to make me comfortable upgrading. The 7X claims 16 hours with FULL multi-sensor GPS and music. That's sort of right on the mental borderline... As exciting as any new fenix launch is for me (I've owned a 2, 3, 3HR, and now the 5X), I think I personally will hold out for the 7 Plus/Pro, 8, or whatever they decide to call it.

Mine did the same thing.

PS - Got it working now. Got the Fenix 7 Solar for $639.99 plus tax.
