American Crew Fiber is what I use and it's on sale for $11.58 before FSSS. It's normally $15.73.

But I do love the product and have exclusively used it for three years now
The bad part ~ even the traditional places we purchase from to ensure we had the genuine products is really not safe anymore. This is because many counterfeiters will sell to suppliers as "overstock" which then gets mixed into the normal supplies.
The good part ~ Most counterfeit products are legit copies of the original product, as the formulas are pretty much common domain in China, where most of these products are made.
My take-away .... No longer is the mom-and-pop places safe from counterfeit products. The best we can do, is have a place that allows returns and exchanges when a product fails to perform.
Also, for what it's worth products are sold by weight, not the size of the container. I would bet that the containers half full are still the 3oz of products. When I was a bit younger, I believe they used to be 4 or 5 oz per container. As they cut down on the product, they keep the container the same size. I am not saying you have to be happy with how they package it, but you are not buying a full container but specific volume.
