Interesting that you can find this link just Googling for "usps covid tests" but the official government website [covidtests.gov] still says it is not available until tomorrow. Typical. Thanks and repped.

Yes. They are rapid tests, lateral flow tests, that are administered at home and results within 15 minutes.

Well, not entirely. When you don't have symptoms, why would you test? No way of knowing that if you feel fine. People aren't going to test daily, and there aren't enough tests to make that happen.
You test if you know or think you've been recently exposed. Or you're visiting a vulnerable person.

Its only a matter of time before people take advantage of this and start selling them on FB marketplace for a few bucks.
Aside from it being illegal, why is the prevalence of tests in the marketplace such a concern? It's not drugs being sold, just test kits.

Because people can still be asymptomatic. Just because they are "feeling fine", doesn't mean they don't have it. I have to agree with IndigoMarmot4928.

Yes, because shoving a cotton swab up your nose is great fun!
