Interesting that you can find this link just Googling for "usps covid tests" but the official government website [covidtests.gov] still says it is not available until tomorrow. Typical. Thanks and repped.

Yes. They are rapid tests, lateral flow tests, that are administered at home and results within 15 minutes.

Because people can still be asymptomatic. Just because they are "feeling fine", doesn't mean they don't have it. I have to agree with IndigoMarmot4928.
I agree. I think why I said this is, does that really end the pandemic by now? My response was to someone who stated people who didn't want to get tested are the reason we are still dealing with this mess. My point is, people don't know they have it and spread it. They aren't feeling bad, how arevthey going to know to test. Yes, they test when visiting vulnerable, but when they go in public, there are vulnerable people everywhere. Just a thought.

Shouldn't they be vaccinated and therfore protected by now if they are vulnerable? 🤦
Because not all vulnerable people can get vaccinated, such as young children or those with weakened immune systems. Nor do vaccines guarantee you won't catch it. My stepmother is 70 and has lung cancer, so even though she's vaccinated, getting Covid could be more dangerous for her than you or me.

You know that list of questions they ask you before you get vaccinated? It's there for a reason.

Watch out for thieves following the mail truck around, stealing kits right out of mailboxes. I guar-an-tee thieves are going to do that. So grab your mail quickly.

1. Some peoples are so vulnerable that they cannot take the vaccine, for legitimate reasons.
2, The vaccines provide great protection against serious illness and death, but are not 100% effective at avoiding infection.

We don't need flu tests anymore. CoViD apparently ended flu season the last 2.5 years.

Since CoViD there literally are 90% less flu cases. So no need for flu testing. CDC did a magic trick. Poof flu is gone. No one dies of flu anymore like they did for the prior 50 years. 😏
People still get the flu.. you do realize when people started washing their hands more, wearing masks and more working remotely it slowed down it's spread. Nah that can't be it. Makes too much sense

the gov' doesn't seem to realize multiple people (i.e. roommates and families > 4 people) can inhabit one apartment/unit...that shouldn't pose a problem at all...

Great. I live in a multi unit rental. Someone in a different apartment has already signed up for this so none of the other 20is other people here can order a test.
I had to include the hashtag on address line 2 for my unit number to be accepted: "# B5"
