Noob question: Just got a prebuilt Costco desktop (link below) and would like to swap cases. If this one won't fit, what's a better looking case I can swap it to? Looking at about 100-150 budget.

If this is not a good case for a 3080FE card, then is there a itx option at all?

Better looking is quite subjective as I think the case you have is pretty nice and compact, but the size you'll need to look at for your components is called "Micro-ATX" or "MATX". You can browse pcpartpicker for some ideas based on that size

For those enquiring about the PSU!

the PSU in here is a manufactured by sirfa/dong guan. they make PSUs for Silverstone and many other brands. this unit is based on the same platform as the Silverstone SX700-LPT. if you want a review of this PSU, find reviews of the Silverstone and you'll know how this unit with perform.

Here is the German TUV certificate for this unit: https://www.certipedia.com/certif...?locale=en

any review of the PSU?

Exactly. What good is a "700W" PSU if it's made by Logisys?
this PSU is made by sirfa. the same company that makes some of the GOOD silverstone's SFX PSUs. it's even based on the same platform.

EDIT: silverstone also courses SFX PSUs from another called Enhanced Electronics. those PSUs are generally not as good, and this is this NOT an EE made unit

great price, but 3080 FE not recommended to be used with this case because of the atypical airflow. gonna have to pass. Frown

Mobo and GPU led are in sync now, looks much better. For $150+tax, this case combo is great value. I am doing LCD mod and may also add 3x 40mm fan later if needed. I am happy with that for now.
I have had my H1 for over a year and did the 5" LCD mod and the 3 x 40 Noctua fan mod as well. I purchased the brackets from eBay, lots of sellers offering 3d printed stuff for the case, and I bought the 5" LCD and Noctua fans from Amazon. The LCD mod looks amazing. I was so tempted to get the Meshalicious but every time I see my H1 it just looks too awesome with its tiny footprint and beautiful tinted glass front with the LCD behind it. I also like the fact that the I/O cables come straight down because I am able to place the case right over the gromet of my Uplift Electric Sit/Stand desk and run the cables straight down. It makes the cables disappear and I don't have to deal with them rubbing on the wall every time I switch the height of the desk.

I thought the ssupd meshilicious is a generally better case than this one for the gpu. Pros and cons to both I prefer the ssupd but I sure do wish it had a handle Smilie. Anyway take a look at that one

Be careful buying SFFPC cases these days if you plan to upgrade later, as next gen GPUs are expected to increase power consumption and physical size (to fit on beefier coolers). And ITX motherboards options are decreasing due to being a niche standard that motherboard manufacturers are pushing aside due to component shortages to focus on high volume ATX boards.

Not saying to not buy this, its a good deal, but dont buy it with the expectation hardware support for it will be good with next gen launches RDNA3, Nvidia Lovelace, AM5, LGA1700 (exists now but ITX support is low)
the ITX support is not going away and has always been limited in the very high end. The most power hungry card and cpu were never meant to be paired with an ITX setup. I dont think anyone should be concerned with future support and yes you will have issues running the beefiest card and cpu but i dont see any issues running a typical mini itx high end system in the future as this platform has coexisted just fine and survived the maxwell power hungry generation of gpus and intel 14nm cpus

Take any tier list with salt, but Tier C according to PSU Cultists: https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/

Great info, repped. I feel like that info needs to be at the top of the thread. If it's a quality 700W unit (and "Silverstone" is generally good enough to qualify that, despite it being a different product line but same OEM), then it's worth $90 by itself.

fun fact, the funder of NZXT (one that makes H1 cases), Johnny Hou, is actually the father of the funder of Ibuypower (maker of this case), Alex Hou.

sort like how Nvidia's CEO (Jensen Huang) and AMD's CEO (Lisa Su) are family members.

i often imagine the interesting discussion happen at their family dinner table.

"hi dad, how exactly did you move all your MINI ITX cases late last year?"
"Son, i run a promotion on the H1 cases, maybe you should do the same to your HYTE Revolt 3 that weren't selling too well"
"great idea, we will just alternating our promotions so we never have to compete within the family, while giving customer the illusion of competition"
"exactly, just like the neighbor next door that dominated the GPU market"
these are the details I come here for, bravo

that's wrong. the "strider" silverstone PSU on that list in the C tier is made by a company called Enhanced Electronics. This unit is made by sirfa. silverstone sources units from at least 4 different companies and they are not all equal.

also, the tier list is dumb

please stop spreading b*llsh*t.

This is a good deal, the other poster is wrong. You can put an AIO into this, up to 280mm and 35mm thick.

Most decent quality SFX power supply's are around $100. So an amazing portable mini ITX case with a power supply for $160 is a great deal.
