FYI, I've done several of these Tracfone deals and just so you understand it's probably yes, 1500 MIN/1500 Text/1500MB for the year unless you purchase more. In my case it was just a spare phone for the car in case I forgot/lost my daily driver. There are lots of Tracfone buyers here and some might chime in with more info.

The unlocking policy has changed and you should check it out:
