You are correct. Still a really good tv for the price . Only thing you have to worry about is the quality control of Hisense. Tv could last you 10 years or maybe 3 months, it's a gamble. Also I believe there was a software update that gave DV and HDR content red ghosting . Not sure if that was fixed yet.

My mom's $260 65 inch hisense from bf2020 is still going strong. Only annoying thing is it requires a reboot or unplug and plug every few weeks or so for stability of the OS.
I will say that these sets have some known quirks (red ghosting) that can irritate some, but it's seldom anything to get bothered about.
Great TVs for bright rooms!
My only real complaint against Hisense is their software support is not as good as some of the A-Tier brands.
Sometimes their fixes break other things, the quality control in both software and hardware is less than the more household names.
That's never happening at this price.
I'm not complaining. I'm just telling people that this is numbered very similarly to the Hisense that does 4k/120. The TCL 6 series current year does both and that's been as low as $900. That's not too far off.
USB 2.0 is more than enough to handle even 8k media, unless they use crap controllers. You can easily get 300 Mbits
