Sold by "Spreetail"
And pushed to "popular" at 4tu 0 comments

Spreetail seller is often posted by

While OP is a new user and not a Paid SD Staffers account, the quick rise to "popular" might encourage some mild skepticism

anyone with experience with this model?
price seems warm for the last year. a couple years ago this would have been a nice sale

I bought this robot. For the price, it is not bad at all. I own a Wyze robot and this Deebot. The cleaning power is great on both. Wyze has a better LiDAR mapping system.
The deebot mapping can't recognize small furniture legs. But other than that, the deebot gets the job done.

It can finish living room and dining room with about 50% battery left.

Mopping is sub par, basically a slightly wet rag dragging on the floor with no downward force. Not sure how it compares with other robo mops. But at this price you'd get other vacuums with no mop so consider mop as a bonus.

Ive had this for a few years! Its a decent vacuum and a below average mop. The mopping technology has significantly improved since this was first released a few years ago so if thats important to you, then look elsewhere. Also the mopping pad needs to be put on manually so you cant really schedule a combination of mopping and vacuuming in the app. You also have to manually fill the water and empty the dust bin which while pretty normal a few years ago is now more rare with all the self emptying/self cleaning stations. Another thing that annoys me is that there is only 1 level for mapping so if you have multiple floors in your house, you will have to one time map the other floors each time to get them cleaned.
Overall, for this price, Id say go for it if you have a smaller home or apartment and have realistic expectations of what this device does. Otherwise I would look at some of the better 2-in-1s available today.

I have a 950, suction is great, can confirm that mopping is like sliding a wet rag across the floor on mine too. Mine has been having some trouble lately on high pile carpet, it says the side brush gets stuck. Didn't do that before though, and I think I've replaced the side brush to no avail.

My two biggest complaints are:
1. It loses its location and therefore doesn't respect my virtual boundaries. I'll notice that it's off the charger in the evening and sure enough find it in the high pile carpet room with a "stuck" brush because it thinks the boundary is two feet into the room rather than where the carpet starts. Pretty annoying.
2. The area editor to divide an area is a PITA, sometimes I can divide one and sometimes it tells me I can't divide more than one area or something to that affect. It's probably user error but the UI for dividing areas is trash and I blame them because of it.

All in all I plan to buy a better one from a different brand and move this into my master bedroom because I highly doubt I'll ever find one that won't get stuck on the hallway rug between the MBR and the rest of the house.

Edit: I forgot to mention that even though I only use the mop feature when we haven't manually mopped our floors in a couple of weeks, it does have nice flow control so I don't worry about it dumping free standing water on our unsealed oak hardwood floors.

This one is my second Deebot with the mop option, my first one lasted about 4 years and the new smart navigation is really good, mop option improved since my old model and this also have the just vacuum option without the brushes so basically you have three functions, vacuum(really good for wife's hair, vacuum with brushes(really good to pickup crumbs and heavy dust) and finally the mop option that I really like.

I had two of these, I must've been unlucky because I had to warranty them several times due to a driving wheel dying, or the lidar not spinning (could usually be fixed for a few runs by manually spinning it). For the price though, they do save a ton of time, and map fairly well.
