Had a pair of these that failed on me after about 18 months of use. They just stopped powering on. I took excellent care of them as I do with all my electronics.

Pros:
- Great sound quality

Cons:
- Uncomfortable
- Micro USB
- Noise canceling is just OK
- Poor durability

Micro USB is a deal breaker, may have hopped on this otherwise.

I'm curious why it's a deal breaker for so money folks? I still have a million micro USB devices all over and they won't be going away any time soon.

It's not usually a huge deal at home (who doesn't have a drawer full of assorted old cables and adapters?) but it's an extra cable to have to carry around when you're on the go or traveling. I wouldn't call it a total dealbreaker for a backup or home use only device, but there's definitely a convenience factor in everything using the same connector.

i saw these yesterday and was considering to pull the trigger, but after investigating on amazon reviews, there are a lot of people who seem to have the left side die on them after a few months, with several pairs.
they seem to have durability issues.

i picked up the Harman kardon ANC in dec for around $60+ and they have been great but now I need a second pair for my wife. I think i will wait it out.

If you want to continue using your micro-USB cable, you can buy a micro-to-USB-C adapter. That's what I use so I don't needlessly throw away my existing cables.

I apologize for being a broken record on Harmon/AKG/JBL deals, but this company is owned by Samsung, a company known for penny pinching to the detriment of any buyer of its wares. I'd be wary.

I own this pair of headphones. These do have durability issues, but they sound better than the sony and Bose headphones in my opinion. That being said, I would rather spend the extra $50-100 on the sonys considering these broke after a year for me.

For some people it's only uncomfortable if you are wearing them for long periods of time so if that's not your typical use it wouldn't necessarily be a dealbreaker. I have these, as well as many other headphones, and this one puts some pressure at the top of my head but I don't use it for long stretches so it doesn't bother me. I use these headphones when I'm doing things like cutting the lawn or if my neighbors break out a weedwacker and I don't want to hear it. Does a great job for me.

Just out of curiosity, which company is not like Samsung?

USB c to micro adapter fixes that though...
