Quite good! Just 10th gen and this laptop has poor thermals, known for getting hot unlike the M17r4 and r3

Is it standard for a laptop over $1000 to have that small of a hard drive these days?

How are you getting the $1278 price? I can't replicate with the codes alone.

Dell finance and the $50off that's it. I went through the student portal too, I think.

Why did you omit the student portal from your OP?

I just purchased this laptop. It's possible to get the price down to $1,190.69.

First I applied DPA10 code (Dell Financing). It doesn't show at first, but proceed all the way to the end (must use finance option). Instead of clicking on Submit Order, go back to cart. 10% will be applied.

Then sign up for Dell email. You will get another code for 10% that stacks.

Sorry for bad pic, but as you can see, $1,190.69 + your local taxes.

Did you start a new account? I went right to the final screen, hit the back button, and the DPA10 didn't show up. I was logged into my existing account so I'm wondering of the DPA10 code is for new customers.

EDIT: DPA10 seems to only work if you apply for financing. Boo. I thought about stacking AMEX Business Plat's $200 dell credit to bring it < $1,000.

I was able to get this to work but I did have to use guest checkout for DPA10 to work. Just used a different email to get the 10% code from Dell. I have a few of these and all have Samsung VRAM for mining. Hoping that trend continues...

You have to have Dell Financing as one of the payment in order for DPA10 to work.

I ended up splitting payments.

Dell Financing ~$48
Amex Plat Biz ~$140 (remaining Dell credit)
Amex CC ~$1,100

Total ends up being $1,140 after tax out of pocket. Not as good as the HP "deal" but this one isn't a fantasy.

Yup. It's basically a revolving credit line.
