Since I originally set things up 6+ years ago, now all of my TVs are 4K, and much of my content could be, if it were not for the older machines no longer being up to the task. Hence why I'm looking here. This little device looks to be powerful enough that it could likely handle streaming Steam over the network easily, which would then extend the functionality of my gaming PC and where I could be using it from.
So, I dunno. Tempting.
Looks like emulation up through PSP, Gamecube, PS2, and some of the less graphics intensive PS3 games.

Bonus: Install Launch Box front end and have all of your games organized with a nice menu with all the box arts, screenshots, etc…

As one stated, for a 4K HTPC, buy a TV Shield Pro.

- Home Assistant (would need to run as a separate VM for easiest installation)
- Plex (though it doesn't support hardware transcoding on AMD APUs)
- Frigate (camera NVR, works best with Google Coral which is OOS)
- many Docker addons for Plex, Home Assistant (Adguard, Wireguard VPN, etc)
But if you don't need the small form factor, there are refurbished Dell PCs you can buy for $150-200 that can do the same thing, probably better with Plex.
As a desktop PC it is probably fine, but you should think whether you are better off with a comparable laptop for a few hundred dollars more.
imo, I would consider this PC if I already had RAM and an NVME SSD lying around and I wanted a really small server to play around with.

In the end, I went a completely different direction, but just wanted to pass the info along.
