This deal was posted several days ago at 159, found it on clearance at my local store for 89.99 so posting again with revised price reduction. My store had 2 remaining. Good luck! Original "black Friday" tag was listed at 199 or something.

You can't buy better for under $100. That said, I would want keypad and as others have said, their camera alone is pricey, so if this meets what you are needing, it will be a great find! The new models with the LEDs built in are styling though. If I was starting over, I would pop for one of those for looks alone lol. I have two light model with battery back up and auto closes if left open in error. Those were our priorities given theft and power outages in our area. Works great setting it up for Amazon Key!

guessing I'd need a little bigger, maybe 3/4 HP for a 2 car garage door?
More Hp on a garage door opener is a sales gimmic , if your door is properly balanced and works smoothly any opener will be fine.

What is the difference between belt and chain drive? I just purchased an older home and want to get a new opener. My last home had a smart opener and that was great.
Belts are supposed to be quieter. The drive I replaced with belt was chain, and I did before/after sound readings. The chain was quieter, but not by much, in the garage itself (e.g. if you're standing there). Where you could really hear a difference was in the room immediately above the garage, which we use as a bedroom for our toddlers, and there the sound level went from waking them up (chain) to barely audible (belt).

One other thing I liked about the belt drive is the door positioning - what's closed and what's open - was super easy to configure. With my old chain drive I had to reposition sensors to do that.

Does this work with Alexa? Wonder if Amazon has a smart garage door opener. I hate how many apps I need for smart tech and have been trying to stick to Alexa/Amazon devices.

MyQ does not work with Alexa as easily/smoothly as Meross does.

That said, and this is ironic, MyQ does work with Amazon Key pretty well.

Wish it had the outdoor keypad instead of the camera. $50 more if purchased separately ☹️
I bought a universal outdoor keypad on Amazon warehouse deals for $14

As said, Amazon Key app will let you open/close but you won't be able to use Alexa voice commands to do it.

There is a work around with SimpleCommands. Make an account on their website and link your MyQ account. Then create routines in there for Open Garage, Close Garage. Then you add the SimpleCommands skill to Alexa. Now those routines will show up as Scenes in Alexa so you just create an Alexa routine with action Smart Home - Control Scene and select Open/Close Garage.

Just picked one up at the Dripping Springs, TX store. Brickseek showed 4 but when I got there there was only 3. Clearance tag on it showed $135 but rang up at $89.99.

I promise I'm not being a troll, but I'm about to ask a troll question.

What is the purpose of a "smart" garage door opener?

I can't possibly see a need for such a thing to be "smart." It opens and it shuts...? What's the point of a camera? An app?!? I don't get it...

Were associates able to verify $89.99 or only at check out on the register? I had one in stock also labeled $135. No one was available to check it and when I called customer service
via phone, the person said none were in stock and that the price was currently lowered to $198. Wondering if it's worth a drive back to have them ring it up at the register.

Just bought two at Montgomeryville Mall, PA. They had 6 on a top shelf. A employee was able to pull them down and scan them to verify the price before I got to the register.
