Cruising around my local club today I came across this deal, just noticing the discount.

What's great about this is it appears to be a chain-wide clearance and all the clubs I am checking near me (CT/MA) have it in stock at the clearance price.
It seems to be a BJ's-only clearance as well as other stores that sell this have it for the original price:

I didn't say people will pass on a house. I said they could offer $10,000 less. I have watched almost no TV over the last 30 years, and have seen a DIY show maybe 5-10 times in my life.
Are you really arguing first impressions and house warts do not affect the value of a house?
People aren't 100% logic machines so aesthetic warts affect house value more than they logically should Also, anyone who installs this in their house is more likely to have cheaped out on other stuff, like repairs.
I'm done here, cant brook giving you or your fight any more of my time
Your grandiose opinion is rediculous...and it's just that - an opinion..are you on here to argue and feel superior?? Apparently you are very out of touch with the housing market. If you aren't interested in the deal simply move on. No need for untrue rude comments.
Not everything is an opinion. Installs like this definately drop house value. Its common sense, and also there are records when houses are bought and sold. It would be easy to prove by anyone who wanted to put in the effort.
Now I'm rude? I'm glad I have a choice not to spend time with such people who communicate like that. Not everythign you don't what to hear is rude.
Literally 2 months ago my girlfriend told me her friend was skipping a house because she didn't like the fountain. I know that the, it was a solid house. My first thought was, 'and she can't remove the fountain?'. That's what I was thinking the whole time I was writting this.
You end by commanding me to leave. Fat chance.
You have no respect for the english language and use words like mortal combat players use button combos. Saying that is not rude, it's criticism.
I think pedantic is a better way of describing you
You would not want to sell your house while this is installed. Would probably get 10k less on offers.

Maybe if the house had a really fancy walk in closet with custom cabinets would it raise the price 10k. But the types of closests these are meant for would have no affect on the house value. And in the current market if a buyer lowered their bid because of it that means they would not get the house.

I agree.
Also, I never said a house would be appraised lower for having these. If they did people would install stuff like this before the appraiser came. I said people might offer $10,000 less because of warts like this closet.
There should be a word for your type of personal attack. Perhaps 'conflation attack'. When someone purposely conflates what someone says and acts as their version is the reason they are wrong. Somehow 'might offer 10,000 less" became "city will appraise at $10,000 less" You decided that out of thin air.
My girlfriend did the same thing. A year ago, she bought for $498,000 an estate with no neighbors (surrounded with property and trees) in a neighborhood where all other houses are next to each other. It was appraised at $580,000 and a year later is now appraised at $750 K. I appraise it at $700k till a few last things are fixed. Put 25k in to it.
She got that house all under my guidance.
Who am I to believe? me or you?
She also bought 6 vacant lots (4 residental, 2 commercial) in Arizona 15 years ago for $25,000 near Phoenix and Tuscan, under my guidance. That worked out well.
Excuse me if I believe myself and not any hogwash.
Buy property with 'warts' -->immediaely fix warts.
Remove all warts ----> sell property (never had to sell a property, price keeps goign up)

Reading statements like that is why men have anger issues.
You're the "genius" who said these installed in a house would incur less money on an offer. I'm just pointing out how dumb your statement was, Corky
Now I will add that this kit may seem tacky and cheap. I personally use these shelves in all our closets but I don't use them with the same support poles as this kit. I use the rail system and the support brackets that the shelves sit on top.
For me this kit is good for the 6 shelves that it comes with and the misc hardware that comes with. 6 precut shelves and wall brackets and rubber end caps for $10 is a deal.
