Thanks, any idea if Margin accounts require extra scrutiny over Cash accounts?
Margin may cause them to look into your credit worthiness. I've always kept it as cash only for churning purposes.

Good call. Do you have to wait a while after closing the account to churn?

Almost all of them have PFOF(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pay...order_flow) except for Fidelity, so you're not explicitly paying for it as a commission, but paying for it in the price/quality. Other than that, there may be other more minor differenetiators such as in the UI/app may or may not prefer. I mainly care only about the PFOF, so IMHO, they're more or less the same, except for the bonus they give out.

Were the last 4 digits of the contact number at the bottom of the page left blank on purpose?

"Phone: (888) 247 -"

Does anyone have any experience on how easy it is to contact them when/if there are any problems?

Hard to take a place that calls them self Tastyworks seriously?

That said, I found this...have no idea what it means.

opening 2 separate accounts in the household for $2000 each and getting $400 back is better than parking $10K for 1 account and getting $500.

Robin Hood makes money off of the bid-ask spreads. With many brokerages offering zero commission trades, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

One that screwed small investors over big ones? I'm guessing you're the big one.

this is like a casino asking you to come and play with free money.

option trading is not for everyone: you have to get both timing and direction correct, the timing part is most difficult

You won't sit idle with your deposit for 90days, you start explore their app and addict for trading and pay them a lot in future, that is the catch

Many lost their money with robinhood for trying free trades
You are probably correct. Trading commission does not matter much nowadays. What REALLY matters is the quality of execution of the trade. Good execution means price improvement, filling the best price between the bid and ask spread. i.e. while selling, get the price higher than the bid quote. While buying, get the price lower than the ask quote.

I wouldn't trade without using direct market access to see the actual bids and asks on each exchange

They don't have ETF's/MM's I can just dump the $10K in and let sit for a year then transfer back to Vanguard?
