What portable laptops that weigh 2.1lbs costs $400?
I've spent over $20,000 on laptops with them in the past 3 months and the service has been stellar. Please elaborate on the garbage comment.
Buydig is fine I have many items from them their sale prices cannot be beat. Love all LG products too. Phones, OLED tvs, clothes washers, vacuums, speakers.

I have the 4700u in my Lenovo and run VM's all day. No issues. Not a bad 8 core.
People need 64 CPU cores and 128GB RAM for light web browsing.

So this paid advertisement by BuyDig is getting way to much credit...

I still don't understand why people would not by this generation Ryzen 7 13.3" laptop for almost the same price.

Fore example. This Lenovo with a OLED screen... for $739.99 2.5lbs.
ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED 13.3" FHD Notebook, Ryzen 7, 8GB, 512GB, W10H, Pine Gray
https://www.ebay.com/itm/334282692038?epid=25047033796&hash=item4dd4cd15c6%3Ag%3AorUAAOSw7dthvrmV&LH... [ebay.com]
Newest CPU/GPU and twice the hard drive for $40 more.. I think this is a deal.

$799 3lbs
Lenovo Yoga 6 13 2-in-1 13.3" Touch Screen Laptop - AMD Ryzen 7 - 16GB Memory. 512GB
https://www.ebay.com/itm/203600435959?epid=14051497663&hash=item2f67881af7%3Ag%3Aw80AAOSwA59hO54%7E&... [ebay.com]

And this one is a touchscreen flappable keyboard and newest CPU/GPU for $100 more.
There's really no comparison between mid-grade yoga and zenbook and this LG. Like I said before, it's more like a macbook than those. You're paying for the build quality, not just the specs.

Its good most boxes checked, except its not touch and USB C charging.
I would rather spend $100 more or almost same price get LG Gram. Only issue is LG doesn't come in 13.3" I guess or I have not seen. All the LG Gram I see are dino size 17" or 15.6". unless you're gaming these sizes absolutely impractical in this age and era.

I respectfully disagree. I have a Gram 17" laptop and it's amazingly portable. It has a footprint very close to a 15.9" laptop, and it is VERY lightweight. Love it!

Well to each his own..I have an old Lenovo 15.6" laptop though it's not as light as a gram for sure, but after using 13.3" and 14" the 15.6" is too much of a size.
So I mostly used the desktop connected via the docking station

I am warming up to this deal.

But I feel everyone wants a convertible 13.3".

What is your opinion about the... HP ENVY x360 Convert 13-ay1035nr
https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp...3-ay1035nr
It's 900 less 5% (education discount) less 2% at a cash back site and $20 off if you signup for HP emails.

Everyone does... or do you? I ended up with a Samsung Notebook 7 and I never, EVER, use it in tablet mode. I forget it's a touchscreen 99% of the time. As far as that HP goes it's got better specs than this LG, but it does weigh a bit more at 2.87 lbs. It has a newer generation R7 and double the storage (probably limited as far as ram expansion goes, might be soldered.. but 16gb is plenty). Quality-wise the Envy is premium and that one has a color-accurate and bright screen... but the price is higher accordingly. I'm seeing $850 before any other discounts and CB. For $150 more, if my budget allowed I would spring for the HP.

Thanks...

Price dropped $50 today.

So that would be $850 less 5% for education discount (teachers)... and if you work for a big company you also may get a discount through a EPP program... I just found out I get 5% off cause I work for .......

$850 - 5% = $807.50 plus 2% cash back plus $20 to join email.

I think this is the 13.3" laptop to get.

So this has a better screen, same RAM, double the hard drive, is a convertible, faster CPU/GPU and possibly better build quality for $107.50 more, it is a no brainer for me.

Yeah, I think you made the right choice for sure. Just don't fall for the HP extended warranty with damage protection. There's a lot of caveats to it where even claims for standard covered defects during the first 1 year count against the total max of the warranty. Plus, they don't cover the AC adapter which can sometimes run as much as $200 alone! I recommend using a 3rd party insurance like Upsie for less money and better no-questions-asked damage protection.

So I consider myself a bit of a Computer geek / Android geek and now Chromebook Tablet geek.

I posted that product to show people what you can actually get.

My form factor has always been 17.3"... and when I do upgrade, I most likely will continue.

But THANKYOU.

How does this compare to this laptop from Costco?
