Received mine today. It actually comes in a white box with a green bottom and has the adapter included and even pictured on the front.

Just bought RIG 400 x other day from Best Buy - open piece ( but excellent condition) for $20.unsure if that is good or to buy this Microsoft Xbox headset? Any recommendations? This is for my 11 year old son.

These are good but you have to take care of the band and be careful of stretching cause they break. I've owned the rig and they have broken before as well. I would go with the Microsoft that includes the Amp. They sound much better but do tend to run big

In for one mainly for the adapter and the headset as a decent backup. The listing does list controls like mute and volume control (meaning it should come with the adapter), willing to risk it at this price. Thanks OP.

This is a really good deal, but I feel the more recent wired headset Microsoft released for the new Series consoles is much better for audio quality. It is priced between $40-50 usually. I think thats about right given the better quality of build. Just my two cents. 🙏🏽
If youre looking for wireless. The wireless microsoft headset released about a year ago goes for around $100 and also has decent audio quality with a decent mic pickup as well.
