Serengeti is not a Luxottica brand. They make fantastic sunglasses. Choose Amber lense if you plan to use the sunglasses for driving.

Just a note. Most Photochromic lenses would not darken inside a vehicle since the windshields already block UV light. Photochromic lenses darken when exposed to UV light. I only know of Transitions® XTRActive® lenses that work inside of vehicle because they change based on visible light.

I also have purchased many sunglasses from them and they are definitely legitimate.

Not sure what you mean by lower end versions, but some of these models are still on their site's line up, https://serengeti-eyewear.com/us/...ti-sport/. [serengeti-eyewear.com] Normally, Eyedictive sells discontinued models.
Most companies have several lines to sell to different outlets. Cheaper lines have different materials and build quality. These Serengeti are really fugly.

Why don't you admit that deals from eyedictive are promoted by slickdeals? Everyone knows it.

So you think they spent time to use cheaper materials then the ones here?
https://serengeti-eyewear.com/us/...-2646.html
Because the amount of money needed to do that seems unlikely. Its not clothes.

They have different glasses with different price points. I have a couple of the lower end models and a bunch of the higher end models. There's a difference in "quality". I don't really wear the lower end ones. Kinda stick to the one model I like. Have two of them. One has driving lens and one has outdoor lens (sunny beach)

I would grab a couple pair and pay the $5-$7 on the return. I know we're all addicted to free shipping and returns, but you pay somewhere.

Driver or grey Levanzos? I've had the Serengeti with driver lenses before and the clarity was amazing. I've never tried the grey though.

I'm sure they have higher end models. But I personally never spend this much on sunglasses so hoping they are decent.

Think what you like. Just because it's brand name doesn't mean you are getting the top of the line. If it fits your style, who cares? But Eyedictive is on this thread and they are not responding to the claim that these could be the lower end. Look at the other Eyedictive deal postings and see what others are saying. I have bought from them before and have been very disappointed. I don't think they are fake. Just lower end.

The only glasses I buy. Different lenses for different activities. The driving ones are awesome. Also have the beach ones. Have bought a bunch from this store and even returned a couple. No issues. Might grab the Bergamo but as namx mentioned, these are lower ever versions. I'll take the hit on paying return shipping if they don't work.
Which ones are the driving ones?

Big fan of serengeti and eyedictive. That said backcountry is having a big costa sale right now. Many are around this price and glass lenses are just a little more
