CPU benchmarks often offer an insight into how good a processor is when compared with another. But the thing with AMD Ryzen 7 and Intel Core i7 processor families is that they are almost equally matched in terms of performance.

From the negative comments, It seems like this is missing proper laptop ventilation. Don't take my word for it, Look at the pictures. I can't stress how much proper laptop ventilation is critical for tasks like Video Conferencing, Any Adobe products other than Acrobat, Gaming, Video editing, etc...

Video conferencing with what is going to be an issue? At least with google meet and Zoom I haven't had issues on anything.

I have the intel version of this with the mx450 discrete graphics. I rather like it. Solid build quality and I like the touchscreen. Plays older games quite well.

Does require some tweaking to get decent battery life out of it though (integrated graphics, turning off the intel turbo boost, silent power profile). Then I can get 8 hours or so general office/light use. Out of the box it was dying in like 3 hours.

Guessing since this has no discrete graphics and a ryzen chip it will do a bit better.

This isn't a bad deal if you don't need a graphics card in your life. It will be more than enough for most casual users.

For any of these dell deals that come with a yeti mic, if you want to save the additional 70 or so bucks they are embedding with the purchase for the mic, just click save for later on the yeti mic in your cart. You will need a dell account (free to make). And then it will subtract the price of the mic from the deal and you can still buy the computer. They also usually have a sign up for email 10% off coupon that will stack with the deal.

I am not able to separate the laptop and mic, or even able to find option of save for later for mic. Please check and guide.

Oh I forgot I had to go onto dell with my phone to select the save for later option. It wasn't there on my desktop. So log in with dell account so it has your cart saved, then go on your phone and log in to see your cart, on your phone it will provide the save for later link near the mic. Then I just went back to my desktop and bought it.

I just tested it on my phone again and it still does it.

Be careful with express shipping. When I bought my laptop it said free express shipping $0 so I picked it. These ass clowns charged me for the shipping after I had bought it. Like they listed one price when I bought it, and then the next day on the invoice it had a different price with the shipping fee added.
