Thanks, in my area they don't have much furniture in store and if you do happen to find anything in store, I don't think they ship it unless you see it in store then go back home and order it online.

I've had sofas and sectionals that are good. I also have barstools from them that are so so. Most furniture I've bought from Costco is all foreign made and quality is what it is, some you have to assemble and some is white glove delivered and set up. My outdoor patio furniture all had to be assembled. My king size bed was delivered and set up in the bedroom and seems to be comparable with others. I returned one king size bed after 6 months and Costco scheduled a junk company to pick it up and trash the mattresses and beds (split king system) which I thought was crazy.

For the kids vitamins, be careful - not that they are bad from a health perspective, but if you're looking at the cost per "serving", SmartyPants require 3 gummies, not 1 like most toddler gummy vitamins. For their kids gummies, it's 4 per serving whereas most others are just 2.

Other than semi-local places, chances are any delivery and/or setup you get is a 3rd party. Lowes/HD don't do any of their own delivery or work (e.g. floors, appliance setup etc) - it's all 3rd party. The only places that will have this are those that deal exclusively and locally - around here we have Raymour & Flanigan and Bob's Discount furniture - both pretty big chains so it makes sense for them to in-house logistics. For the big box stores it simply doesn't make sense for the liability and hassle to bring it entirely in house.

I know Lowe's uses a system where handymen basically bid on the install jobs. Hit or miss if the person is qualified or not. It took three different guys to finally get my garage door opener working properly. The install was only $79 so someone lost some 💲.

no real surprise myself. I am up there as well and I am just a Joe Schmo.

I just spent 250 dollars on feit' led's few days go, good thing I havnt opened them, prob going to return them and just rebuy with the savings so I dont have to price adjust at customer service

costco shoppers seem to be smarter than average person imo, and their carts are always loaded with a thousand bucks in stuff, which to me shows they aren't hurting for money. I am pretty much only person I know in my circle who shops at costco and Sams. they prefer walmart/meijer etc. meh. id rather pay more and get more.

It's pretty well known that Costco targets more affluent areas [unt.edu] to build stores in.

Numerator [businessinsider.com]found that Costco's typical shopper in the US is an Asian American woman between 35 and 44 years old who is married and living in a city in the Pacific Northwest. (Costco was founded in Seattle and is based in Washington.)

She typically has a four-year degree or higher level of education and earns more than $125,000 a year.

The typical customer visits Costco on a weekend day every two to three weeks — about 23 trips per year — and picks up nine products for a total cost of about $114 a trip. The company stocks only 4,000 products (stock-keeping units, or SKUs), compared with 30,000 at many other retailers.

Costco sales are far and few between nowadays, and their website and IT processes are living in the 90s. I have to call to get inventory status. I don't pay for the membership but I signed up at sams club with the offers on this site and they have much more variety and smaller quantities. Prices not bad either.

Though not in this ad some other garbage worthy vitamins due to taste One a Day Vitacraves Women's gummies (the aftertaste takes your breath away) & Centrum Adults Multigummies. So very bad 🤢.
