Am I the only one who thinks it's odd to put a cheap $5 case on a device you just paid $1000 for? My personal favorite case is the Evutec Karbon for the iphone I've had each generation since the iphone 5. I paid $20 shipped for mine on eBay for the iphone 12 Pro Greta case and came with a magnetic phone vent mount very cool bonus.
Maybe on the brittle iPhones... I've been using 8-10 dollar cases on my Samsungs and Windows Phones for the last decade. Never had an issue. No screen protectors either

It's more like iphone if you crack the back it's a arm and a leg to repair it, they made them impossible to replace it yourself ever since the iphone 8 I've replaced the Samsung glass backs number of times it's easy as pie. the iphone not so much I attempted it on my GF Xs and no bueno.

Oh no, slap a case on the back and voila, what damage? Pretty idiotic not having a case anyway. On the other hand crack the front of your Samsung and what happens? Either fork over nearly the price of the phone just to replace the screen or do what others have been doing which is use it as an excuse to upgrade. A cracked screen on my iPhone can easily be replaced for $15-100, depending which model it is. Open your eyes my friend, your lil story was pardon my French, stupide'

I never said I didn't have a case, if you read like 4 posts up I said it's wierd someone who buys a $1000 iphone would put a $5 case. I was merely giving you a example on why because I repair phones for people on the side iphones aren't easy ever since the 8 and newer.
It is not similar. Ur link is to great OEM Nilkin case which is really good. The one in the current ad is cheap fake, so similarity stop at design, pls do ot muddy the water. As they say apples to apples...
Maybe not $5, but I got this one for $10. Keep your eyes open and you can find quality products for pretty cheap.
I have this exact case and have had it for at least six months, several drops on concrete and even one while getting out of a lifted Wrangler and no cracks or scratches on the phone. Very good case and not bulky at all.
Since people equate the price of a case to quality, being a big ringke fan, I think most of their cases I've owned are probably $12-$15 max and usually on sale for lower.

Imo there's only so much protection a thin piece of, essentially plastic can provide whether it's $5 or $50.
You can find unbranded, cheaper. versions of expensive cases on alibaba all the time.

Yes but this one is flexible doesn't have a hard back which will protect the glass better which is why I buy the slim and sleek Evutec case which doesn't add too much bulk or weight and it's rock hard carbon fiber near impossible to damage. I'm on my 6th case (different iphones) from them and they all held up like new.

I have very bad experience with Aliexpress.
I am not endorsing the current case/site etc..
however if you like what you see and want something similar I suggest the following:
