Anyone ever used their lifetime warranty? Do you have to pay for return shipping?

Yes, also note their "lifetime" warranty means life of product, not yours. If the items looks worn out its not under warranty

Can someone tell me what makes this a women's pack? This looks perfect to replace the bags I've been using for a long time and I just want to know if there is something weird I should know about how it fits or something. I really wish I didn't have to ask this, and honestly feel stupid doing it but isn't that what this forum is for?

In general, women's packs will have the shape of the straps a little different, the distance from top of the strap to the bottom of the bag will be shorter, the straps narrower, and the chest buckle is higher. All of this is to better work for a woman's upper body anatomy.

Some brands the differences are a lot, others its minimal. I can't comment on this model specifically. But I've found a lot of the mens/womens packs can be used on the opposite sex just fine; maybe not as ideal but workable. Obviously your YMMV depending on the specific pack and your own body anatomy and proportions.

Awesome, thanks. I'm not really big and don't usually use the chest buckle anyway so I ordered one and I'll pick it up and see. I've been using this old slouch backpack for years and I need something with some actual framework now. I figure it'll be perfect for conventions which is what I need it for and the flat back can be covered with pins and buttons and stuff.

Nothing wrong with purple. Barney was a dude. Grimace was a dude. Prince was….well, Prince.

I wish I could get this for my son, but going into middle school is like preparing for D-day.
