Not sure where the quoted info that this is MSI refurbished and sold direct from MSI is coming from. The listing is by "Starlit Partner" and says it's eBay Refurbished.

Ugh.... I've been postponing buying a monitor for as long as I could...

Dangit OP...

This hits all the right marks!

-High refresh rate
-Fast response time
-27in+ (I plan to use 2 for my workstation)
-Under $140 ($132/ea when you buy 2)

One question if anyone has had experience with this before I pull the trigger....

How is the color accuracy on this? (I stare at blueprints half of the day, working in robotics)

I have a monitor with basically the same specs except its only 60hz. Would this be a big improvement?

Depends on what you do. Also does your desktop or laptop has a capacity of more than 60hz?

As the other person said, unless your PC/graphics card can produce more than 60 frames per second, there's no point really for higher than 60Hz. A faster response time might improve things slightly, but you said the specs are the same.
I went from an old 60Hz screen to a faster response time and higher Hz monitor for playing flight simulator. Since the FPS really didn't go much above 60, there was basically no difference and I could have saved the money.

Ty for this, also unless I'm misreading the ebay page, the one for sale is the other version of that monitor. The one on ebay doesn't have the Quantom Dot tech in it. So I dunno how much that affects things. Id assume the non QD is worse? But who knows maybe the QD ruins the screen instead of improves it, lol.

I snagged 3 of these from woot (Amazon) for $119/ea. a few weeks ago (MSI Factory Reconditioned) for my work-from-home setup. They arrived looking brand new sealed in unopened boxes.

All of the reviews I saw comparing the QD and non-QD were super minimal - takes some digging to find some folks discussing the two.

For work-from-home monitors, they have been fantastic for the price, I was waiting for the Dell G2724D/S2725DS to hit a sale again, but I'm happy with these.
