Since Verizon took over, tracfone went to shit completely.
I activated a new card to extend my service date, but they completely zeroed out my balance. They refuse to help. Now I have filed multiple complaints with BBB, FTC, FCC, FL attorney general office.
Tracfone did NOT respond, but decide to close my account. Then someone else is in the process of porting my phone # out without my consent. I contacted TracFone, and they don't care and continued the port out.

Tracfone has updated their unlock policy as follows:
For Customers with non-Apple(ie Android/other) devices: TracFone will provide an unlocking code to customers who request unlocking, provided they meet the following conditions:
- If the TracFone device was activated with TracFone service prior(Before) November 23, 2021, then the device must have been active on TracFone Service for no fewer than 12 months with Service Plans redeemed in no fewer than 12 months, and not have had their telephone number recycled or ported.
-If the TracFone device was activated with new service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, then at least 60 days must have elapsed since the device was activated.
- The device must be in working condition.
- The device has not been reported stolen or lost, and there are no indicators of fraud.
*Note: Not all phones sold by Tracfone work 100% on other carriers so performance may vary. Ask here or Tracfone for more info on that.

Be aware this is a very bare bones phone with minimal ram. Know what you're buying & don't expect a lot - for this price you're paying for the service & they're basically giving away the phone for free.

Also, I thought that Airplane Mode actually disabled the Wi-Fi connection? Or am I wrong about that?
Tracfone offers up to 8k points for _new_ Rewards accounts, or 7k points for existing Rewards members to add a _new_ line. If you just renew an existing line, there are no points.

I'm impressed with it. Fingerprint Sensor, Android 10. Screen is nice and the OS is responsive. For just surfing the web and youtube its fine. My main phone is an iPhone 13. Don't wanna be a camera snob, but dont expect a lot from this camera. It's a $30 phone for a reason.
