Thanks!
Excited to see the S22 series. Hoping for some really aggressive trade in/up deals this year (especially on the new ultra/note) considering they didn't reach their sales target on the 21 series. Ofc supply issues may put a damper on that hope :/
Was thinking the same if I should upgrade from note 20 ultra and miss the SD card! I need more storage for photo, video and songs and storing them in cloud is not practical for me ATM. I will be forced to buy higher storage variant of new phone due to this.

We are sorry to inform you that we are closing down the Samsung Device Insights Program as of Nov 12, 2021. You are no longer required to complete the remaining study period if your device is still under the one-year term in the agreement. You can now trade-in or change your device irrespective of your agreement date.
100% agree. Recently bought a 1TB SanDisk MicroSD for my Note 10. Not "downgrading" to a phone with no SD card slot, and definitely not paying $1600 for a 1TB version of a new phone. Even then, it will be 256GB less that what I have right now (256GB internal + 1TB sd).
Even beyond the upfront cost, I like having all my photos and videos on a removal card in case my phone dies. Has happened to me once, and an SD card saved the day.
I agree. Usually trade up every year for the next S series but I'm clinging to my S20 due to microSD slot. Depending on trade in deals, I might jump to iPhone. I really don't want to but without microSD I see no point and 95% of people I text with have iPhones, they will be SO happy that I no longer ruin the pics and video sent in group texts.
