Yes. It's an android phone so you're not put in a box like you are with apple. More bang for the buck with Samsung and Android. Compare specs at gsmarena.com

No.

I don't think it's more bang for the buck. But yes, it's a totally different experience with more freedom and customization than iphone.

At the moment it all depends on what features you want.
Apple is great if you need an always reliable device that just works with an added benefit that they are 2 generations ahead in processing power. App quality is better since all devices have a set standard.
Android is good for the power user, usually faster charging and great displays with enormous amounts of ram. No walled garden so you can install anything you want.

The flagship devices are essentially comparable. I was an iPhone user early on, switched to Android devices around the S4 and just switched last year to the iPhone 12 Pro Max because it was free with no trade-in. Go with whatever is a better deal.
In a nutshell, the Apple user experience is nicer but Android customization and file management/transfer are more flexible. If many of you’re contacts are on Apple you’ll benefit from iMessage and FaceTime. Apple device upgrades are seamless. Google integration on Android is better. Surprisingly I’ve found Siri much better than Google. Apple devices hold better trade in values. If you have an Apple or Android tablet, you may want to stay with the same as you can sync across easier if you stay on the same platform.

For s22u, I ordered and received caseology's parallax series in black (for my burgundy phone).
I had the same combo for my note 20u and I loved it. Been using the parallax series cases since note 8.
So sad that odder (scheduled for delivery today) was delayed last minute. Tracking said something about delayed by sender but that doesn't make sense. Oh wells.
I got another order in for lower priced trade ins for a white one.

I have ordered Nillkin CamShield Pro Case. It has a camera covering which I like to have after watching the drop test videos!

The instant credit expires 2/24/22 and isn't taken off the total amount of the phone but is given as a Samsung credit towards other products such as Galaxy watch, Galaxy buds, etc at the time of purchase. But right now they have free storage upgrade.

If you don't use it on accessories during checkout, ie select skip add-ons, they will send an email with the eCert shortly after order is shipped and has to be used on their site within 90 days. Btw if you are pre-ordering the S22U make sure to use 50RESERVERB to bump up the eCert to $250.
It's not mandatory to buy, this just gives your account an automatic 50 off.
I've found that if you have a decent phone to trade in, pre-order deals always beat the soon-after-release deals. If you don't have a decent trade-in, the opposite may be true. Excited to see if this is worth trading in my n20u, i really can't stand the giant camera bump.

Yes, that's what I did. Put the $250 towards a Tab. Z Fold 3 was fun for a while but the S22U is the way to go if you're a fan of the Note series.
Thanks!
Excited to see the S22 series. Hoping for some really aggressive trade in/up deals this year (especially on the new ultra/note) considering they didn't reach their sales target on the 21 series. Ofc supply issues may put a damper on that hope :/
Was thinking the same if I should upgrade from note 20 ultra and miss the SD card! I need more storage for photo, video and songs and storing them in cloud is not practical for me ATM. I will be forced to buy higher storage variant of new phone due to this.
