As a few stated I been going Groupon too. Been changing between my wife and I for a few years now. I will take it further that I don't go in store for a card. I load up the app and the card is on the app. I love the check out option in the app. I scan my items and sometimes I get to double dip and get 2 coupons it will tell me what coupons I can use. I pay and walk past the long lines and check out.

BJS membership is nation wide. If your store is on the not valid store list, you can active your membership at a store that is not on the list. Once you get your membership, you can use it anywhere you want.

I got a mailing about this offer in September. I have been meaning to signup for it but it is a bit of a trek to get there. When you signup, the $10 has to used within 14 days. Then the following months it is issued on the 1st of the month. I figured that if I signed up towards the the end of the month, I would get $20 for the first visit. Then I am ahead if I make 1 more trip. I just keep forgetting each month end. TY for the reminder.

A word of caution, they will automatically renew your membership 2-3 months before it expires. So be prepared to cancel next November or so.

I don't think they take pictures anymore...at least not here in central NJ.
Edit- Wanted to add my review- I like BJs more than Costco and Sams in my area. It is less crowded than either, has better selection of items that Sam's, smaller sizes than Costco. The stores are clean and efficient. They also offer free curbside pickup.

In other words, it's a $10 bonus each month, but you have to use it that month or you lose it, you can't save them for a single $60 off purchase.

BJ's by me pretty much just has less selection than Costco/Sams on almost everything. The prices aren't any better but they do take coupons.
No cafe for cheap pizza and hotdogs, at least not at my location.
The gas prices are on par with Costco/Sams.
Less crowded, but less checkouts. Still faster in and out maybe.
