As a few stated I been going Groupon too. Been changing between my wife and I for a few years now. I will take it further that I don't go in store for a card. I load up the app and the card is on the app. I love the check out option in the app. I scan my items and sometimes I get to double dip and get 2 coupons it will tell me what coupons I can use. I pay and walk past the long lines and check out.

BJS membership is nation wide. If your store is on the not valid store list, you can active your membership at a store that is not on the list. Once you get your membership, you can use it anywhere you want.

Also, they have things that aren't huge sizes like most of costco.

It takes a long time to check out even though there is like no one in the store. The $10 rewards comes up evert month when you check out on the credit card machine. It asks if youd like to use your $10 credit.

Is there a reason you don't go in to obtain a physical card? Is it because they can potential flag the new account is from an existing member base on the drivers license?

Honestly thought this was for Sam's and I was in my head going to ask, 'ooh, is this the one that gets you free shipping?" Sigh.. few seconds into reading comments I realized my silly mistake. Also there isn't even one in ca? Lol

Really deceiving they burry this and allow you to sign up anyway. I just moved near University Park location and was considering joining. I am really turned off by this and by some of the comments here. Costco has always treated me well. This place sounds shady.
