Those pork shoulder butts are tremendous. No bone, but plenty of fats to not dry out on the long smokes. I was hesitant at first, but thats all I use for pulled pork anymore

You can view raw files on PC now without extra software. Some do require the codec installed. Personally, if rather use nice robust photo management software.
What software do you recommend? I have one I bought that was fairly expensive, but the way you have to load pictures in, and you can't batch process, I find it too cumbersome. Could just be me, again I'm just casual.

I don't want to start a PC vs Mac thing. But can't help but laugh that 800 is entry level when a comparable PC is half that.
I've used windows laptops for 15+ years, recently switched to this M1 MacBook Air. There's no competition for this device at this price point. Windows have cheaper laptops that you can browse the internet with but this device is faster and more thermal efficient than anything windows offers at this price. I used XPS 13 before this one and it cost me more and gave me less than M1 Air, I use it for data science work which I'd need a more expensive device for in the windows market.

I've owned windows, Chromebooks, and apple laptops and I would say this M1 MacBook Air is the second best laptop I ever had under 1k. First place goes to Dell XPS 13 that I had for a few years now. Except this laptop would slaughter my XPS 13 (or probably most other new laptops under 1k) when it comes to power and it doesn't even have any vents or fans to make any loud noise.
Everything except bezels on this laptop just screams premium quality. Haptic feedback touchpad, excellent keyboard, great speakers, amazing screen, 14 hour battery and top quality aluminum finish. And it's dead silent while getting barely warm doing everyday tasks. Unlike my XPS 13 that has a fan going out at this point. I got it for $50 cheaper ($800) around Christmas and absolutely loved it. If you have an iPhone especially, then this laptop gets even nicer. It integrates very well with it. Messages, facetime, and even phonecalls. You don't have to reach for your phone for example when phone call comes through, you can just answer them right on your laptop. Chromebooks and android phones are slowly getting there, but are still in very early stages of integration and nowhere near what apple does with their stuff.
I'm not an apple guy btw, I mostly used to use Chromebooks for media consumption and have an Android phone. I was highly impressed by M1 MB Air. It's my second favorite laptop now and the one that gets used the most.

Can anyone comment on the Tempur Serenity? I'm a side sleeper and wake up with numbness every morning. Worth $160?

I wonder the same. Looking for alternative way for my sleep and not trying to spend 1k for new mattress.

spend $1k on a new mattress. Look for sales, spring/memory foam hybrid will last a long time.

You spend a lot for a good mattress now, avoid back problems later when you're older, operations, painkillers, etc.

It's an amazing toothbrush, highly recommended. It's almost a loss leader for them, very cheap because they charge an arm and a leg for the replacement brush heads.

Just wait for sale for the brush heads, I think last time I got a pack of 6 brush head replacements it was $30-$33 at costco, discounted from $39.95.

Using an electric toothbrush will increase the longevity of your teeth 5-fold, and also reduce cavities and pain at the dentist.

I bought their top of the line brush some years ago and absolutely hated it. Head slightly swivels from side to side really quickly. It feels like you have a vibrator with a toothbrush attached to it. Makes your mouth vibrate. I'm a big fan of Oral-B electrical toothbrushes after trying them and have been using them for about 5 years now. Toothbrush head is round and it spins about half way one way, then half way the other way so it's really brushing your teeth and you don't get your whole mouth vibrating from it like from Sonicare. Big Fan of Oral-B brushes. I tried high end and cheap ones and found cheapest ones work best. Walmart used to sell entry level one for $40 with one speed and I liked that thing a lot. Speed was slow which I prefer, one press to turn it on, one press to turn it off, no million options to go through to get to your desired speed every time you brush. But last time I checked even the cheapest ones started to offer multiple speeds.

How do pigs have a shoulder on their butt? Or is it a butt on their shoulder?
The pork butt comes from the shoulder and there is indeed one big bone in it which comes out easily when smoked correctly.

How much is the pound? National chains sell pork butt for less than $1/lb often. It's one of the frequent loss leaders.
I'd like to know the regular warehouse price/lb too.

As a reference, at my closest Sam's Club, which is usually cheaper than my closest Costco, pork butt is $1.53/lb. If that were Costco's price, the pork butt would have to weigh around 9 pounds to break even. Anything above 9 pounds and it's cheaper with the <$1/lb price of the national supermarkets. Costco's is probably not a good deal. Which does not surprise me. I am finding Costco less and less appealing, price-wise. They do sell some pretty good quality and hard-to-find items, though.
