Everything except bezels on this laptop just screams premium quality. Haptic feedback touchpad, excellent keyboard, great speakers, amazing screen, 14 hour battery and top quality aluminum finish. And it's dead silent while getting barely warm doing everyday tasks. Unlike my XPS 13 that has a fan going out at this point. I got it for $50 cheaper ($800) around Christmas and absolutely loved it. If you have an iPhone especially, then this laptop gets even nicer. It integrates very well with it. Messages, facetime, and even phonecalls. You don't have to reach for your phone for example when phone call comes through, you can just answer them right on your laptop. Chromebooks and android phones are slowly getting there, but are still in very early stages of integration and nowhere near what apple does with their stuff.
I'm not an apple guy btw, I mostly used to use Chromebooks for media consumption and have an Android phone. I was highly impressed by M1 MB Air. It's my second favorite laptop now and the one that gets used the most.
My 2 complaints about MB Air is fairly thick bezels around screen and lack of Micro SD card slot. If they could just blow up screen closer to the edge and cut down the empty space in half and add Micro SD card reader, it will be near perfect laptop for everyday home use.
EDIT: They may refund the difference if you request it, it's not automatic or guaranteed in writing; but as long as you're an active customer they don't want you to cancel because you're $20 short of break-even

I snagged an offer back in October that was a $40 reward card, $20 off 200 coupon code, and then there was a $50 off 500 code you could request from CS at the time...not sure if they're still doing the $50 off 500 coupon, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
They definitely come up occasionally though, you just have to keep your eyes out. There's speculation membership prices are going up though...
