I own this and it's good for powdery snow but anything slushy bogs it down quickly. Also the wheels leave much to be desired. Probably fine for most, but it's not always ideal for Minnesota winters.

Great deal. I got one last year on eBay from posting on SD for $200. Worked really well for the one time I've used it this year. Much easier than the corded Snow Joe blower I had before

I personally ordered it myself, I have 4 5.0 40v batteries so I dont need anymore, neighbor said he would buy two 5.0 ah 40v batteries off me for 160. so im paying 100 for this blower. figure be nice if I ever need it. I dont live in an extreme snow state, I live in middle of ohio. so comes in batches and melts shortly after. nothing too major.

Dang, I bought it when it was $329 when this deal was first posted. Will they do a price adjustment, or will they let me cancel that order if I order it again? Original order status still shows as "processing"

if you have a local DTO just re order, and return the higher priced one would be simplest way, but you may be out the 10 dollar shipping

The closest one is ~1hr drive away :/

But I guess that's a reasonable last resort

see if you can locate rejection/refusal fees. id prob reject it

but I would first reach out to them and ask for an adjustment.

This is an outstanding deal, coming from DTO with warranty, and fully reconditioned and with two batteries.

I'm pretty sure I could flip the two batteries for $100+, so if I had batteries and just wanted the snowblower, it would be an even sicker deal.

I have been looking at electric snow blower for a while. 1 stage is fine but those rubber flaps and auger will wear out in a season or two. I want all metal blades like egos new gen single stage snow blower
I would like to think you can contact ryobi and they will offer you under warranty or cheap replacement blades/repair kit but I had hands on them at store, I dont think them wearing away will be an issue to me.

The wear on the flaps, is minimal, so far for me having used it for one season.

I can easily see them lasting for three or four seasons or more. Depending on use, of course.

And replacements are available on eBay for like $25.

Hmm. The stuff that is new looking when delivered is called 'blemished'.

Is Reconditioned a seperate catagory? Reconditioned might mean it's really been reconditioned. Which means it may or may not have problems. Also, if the batteries are reconditioned it probably means they were just used, and for how long, who knows, or if they were charged propery before storage.

Can someone clarify the difference between Reconditioned and Blemished.

It might be as harmless as the Blemish returns are sold as Refurbished.

It's a guessing game unless someone knows something. Someone set me (we) straight.

That said. I've gotten so many great Ryobi tools from directtooloutlet, com. I keep buying the 'Blemished' which looks new and never has blemishes.

nice to know replaceable parts are easy to come by. 25 bucks every 5 years is nothing to worry over myself. im a mild user. may happen to use it 3 times a year
