It's a decent value if you want a huge tv but one of the lower rated tvs in this size:

https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/nano75-2021

We will see if Best Buy and other stores lower their price on it as well.

That Rtings review is for the 65" size, and not totally indicative of what the 86" model offers. The 86" adds a native 120 Hz panel, HDMI 2.1 support, and a more advanced picture processor.

I have this TV as a backup to my OLED and like it. Great viewing angles and good picture in bright room.

The native refresh rate is 60Hz. Not 120. It uses TruMotion interpolation to achieve 120Hz. At least that's what the description shows on BJ's website.

BJ's is just copying info from the smaller sized models. If you check the "variants" section in the prior mentioned Rtings review it states native 120Hz for the 86". It also states native 120Hz on LG's website for the 86".

In terms of display quality, is the Nanocell model significantly better than the $1499.99 Costco LG UP8770 UHD model? They are very similar except for this nanocell filter which I'm reading is similar to Samsung QLED technology. I just bought the Costco LG UP8770 model which gets me additional 5 year warranty. And deciding whether or not I should cancel to get this BJ's LG Nanocell model?

Overall, I doubt there's much difference between the two. The NANO filter will provide a wider color gamut and better color volume, but with these IPS panels that usually lessens panel brightness too.

Just to clarify. Rtings does not usually do reviews for just one size of tv. They may test just one size however. They always note any differences in features in the available sizes.

The 86 does inch does add significant features, but my comment was more along the lines of PQ. If a certain size gives a dramatically different picture they would do a separate review of it and not lump into the same one.

Absolutely incorrect, they reference when another model has different technology, such as VA instead of IPS, but they don't test both. They can't afford it, they buy the tv's they review so they do not get cherry picked models.

You mean amazon doesn't give them enough spending money?
