"While I agree that the likelihood of harm is small, the likelihood of a clear health benefit is also very smallโ€”and also we have no clear proof yet of such benefit," says Dr. Guallar, a scientist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Naturemade is not a "generic quality multivitamin." Any OTC product with a USP seal guarantees safe manufacturing practices and the active ingredients it says on the label. Other companies that sell multivitamins/herbal supplements without USP seals doesn't even guarantee if it actually has what it says it has. I trust most Nature Made products and recommend them. Source: I'm a pharmacist.

On this topic... I had no idea how many people need to take Vit D3 according to my doctor and pharmacist.
Especially now that so many are working remotely unless you sit and work in the sun. laugh out loud

It's been mentioned in several articles to boost the immune system although my doc has specifically told me NOT to take more than 2000iu per day. While what you said is true it boils down to saving $0.60 a bottle and I prefer not to buy vitamins beyond a years worth at a time because they weaken as they age in most cases.

My Doc told me the same thing, causing more storage of calcium in the case of D, he put me on 2000 after my blood test was low. K counteracts that, but then may cause other issues that need more studies. I think many people believe they can eat bad foods and get all their requirements from pills, but that's ridiculously wrong, and not regulated

A friend in Florida who is out in the sun coaching just found he had low vitamin D. Mine was low, which caused a rare skin rash. I take Nature Made every day now. Thanks for the deal.

Anyone had issues with counterfeit Nature Made products from Amazon? I've seen it for other things so not sure if I can trust vitamins and supplements.

This understanding has been around for decades, yet the industry thrives because most people would rather take a pill than eat a rounded diet.
