No. The firestick 4k drops to $25 on a good sale.
The 4k model has more ram and capable of 4k60 v 1080p60. Even if you don't own a 4k TV, the .5gb of ram is worth the difference.

I just got this at Amazon for $14 by trading in my ancient FireTV. Expecting it to be about 2x as fast and with power and volume on the remote.

I grabbed the Gen 3 FireTV because it's running 2 version new android and has the better remote. Don't need 4K.

They're so quick. Even got some for smart tvs that are 5+ years old now and starting to slow at times.
