These are great models so far (been 3 months) we all love it, the mobile app and push the volume to mobile/headsets (connected to mobile) is good to enjoy when kids are sleeping. Only thing with the app is it crashes every hour.
The static sound when you turn on the TV without any TV services was annoying. Like by default it cannot go to Netflix or Amazon Prime or default to any app or it's own home dashboard. So you have to skip it by going to settings and tuning and manual tuning and choose DTV which will show some message saying no devices connected and then move to Netflix or Amazon Prime or YouTube etc.
I have had the 65" version of this for about 6 months and it is great. I have been using it with a Roku Ultra and Xbox Series X. The 120hz refresh rate is a definite upgrade from our 60hz TV when it comes to the Series X.
Notice the UP7670 model at Costco is $849 with $50 shop card.
Anyone know what's the main difference between these two?
This UN9070 adds upgrades that include: a native 120Hz panel, 2 more HDMI ports (4 total), HDMI 2.1 support, a better picture processor, and a Magic remote. IMO... well worth it.
The 9070 detonates top of the led model but this is not NANO designated. Not even in the techno specs for it.
Nano is decent per Rtings. There's prob. a reason LG did not disclose this as NanoCell. There's no review even mention NanoCell with this model though SM9070 uses NanoCell.
Take it as what you will I dont trust LG TVs except OLED. Especially when LG dont fully disclose then be more skeptic.
In terms of picture quality, the U8G will crush it. Better colors, better blacks, better brightness. LG has poor contrast and no local dimming. The LG will have wider viewing angles, cost less, and there is always the brand factor to consider (plus this is less than the U8G). Other plus on the LG is that IPS screens tend to have less motion blur and render text better when used as a monitor. So this has good potential usage as a really large business computer monitor.
Wait, Hisense is a respected brand these days? I bought one probably 7 years ago on a Amazon lightning sale and it's the worst picture quality I have ever seen. The only reason it was somewhat reasonable was it was 4k and a smart TV. The color is so blue and washed out.

LG of course is more respected as a brand thus the comment. Hisense is considered budget, but picture quality per dollar, they are killing everybody right now. QLED, 360 dimming zones,120hz panel, and 1500nits for under $1000 is pretty insane. That doesn't mean there aren't other deficiencies.

Does Costco still do the two plus two warranty since they offer Allstate now?
I'm talking bout Citi card additional two years after the first year is extended to two by Costco.

It's not so big like the $250 Black Friday 50-65" tv deals and it's not advertised as frameless.
Hisense is garbage. Slow af interface and mine from a year ago just crapped out. Lg all the way
