Anyone use this with a pull (Japanese style) saw? It looks like it would work well.

$8.97 near me. Never seen this before, but it says 13 available, so I'll grab a couple and see how they are.

Might be nice for propping up some smaller love edge slabs?

This seems like something helpful for when I didn't have a workbench or miter saw.

I picked one up last week for $10 on clearance in my area too. I've used it and I really like it. Built strong and very handy.

Just sliding another 2x underneath the board your cutting does maybe most of what this tool is intended for? Or am I missing something useful, because this looks like a tool to prey on those who haven't worked around job sites

What a simple, yet brilliant tool! We rebuilt our wood dock and I can't tell you all the dumb ways we supported the wood, this would have been excellent. Thanks OP!

I've had one for a few years, and got it when I was rebuilding my deck. Great in theory, decent in execution. I usually ended up using the stack of lumber to support the board that I was cutting rather than slide this down past the cut.

These things are great. I have a pipe one too, and for rough cuts it is a huge time saver.

Pros can do this stuff just using their legs, but for the rest of us this thing is amazing.

.
Or a far more versatile $10 saw horse. Smilie

There is a reason why these are on clearance.

I'm seriously asking how this is better than a 2x4 underneath the board.
I'm getting downvoted on the previous comment, but no explanations or rebuttals?
Because seriously, a 2x4 turned perpendicular to give it clearance off the ground accomplishes the same goal
