Doesn't look like a deal on the LG. A certain website you submit an offer has had the 65" at $1500 the past 6 months.

Same prices for LG C1 at Target and Bestbuy.

Edit: At Target, only the 65 inch shows the same price. But can price match.

The LG C1 77... Was really hoping for a 2500 Superbowl sale. Guess it isn't in the cards.

YMMV - LG C1 rate reduced to $1799 from $1899. With 2yr Warranty and additional 3yrs All State Insurance.

I've been thinking about ordering the C1 or A80J for the last several months. The $2900 for the 77" is an okay deal, but I'm waiting for something a little bit better. Looks like I have until 2/13 to make a decision (although I'm sure both tvs will go on sale right after, as they have done for the last several months).

I hope others have noticed, but these TV prices fluctuate about $200 $300 multiple times throughout the year. The retailers do that, and LG controls the price, as do the other TV makers, to make it look like the thing is on sale.

For instance 2899 for the LG c1 77-in with extended warranty is just the normal price that people can get it for during multiple times of the year. That's all the TV's worth that's why it goes on sale for that amount. Then they Jack the price back up a couple of hundred bucks so then when they do drop it down to the normal selling price it looks like a sale.

This is not a slick deal.

Any idea what the best offer that certain site will accept on the 77"?

I have a budget upto $2000 for new 85" TV in family room.

Another TV for master bed and want to spend upto $1k (65" or larger).

probably around $2500-$2600. you can submit an offer without accepting just to know the price. I tried to get the 65" for $1500 for a while but they always countered me with $1599.

Speaking of urlhasbeenblocked (aka Verde Toe), if you make an offer, does the offer include shipping AND tax or NOT?

83" LG C1 - $4,200
77" Sony A80J - $2,800

No tax for most. I bought both of them a month ago. Prices may have fluctuated since.

Dang, really want that 77" Sony A80J.. its $2900 in a lot of places, I keep hoping for it to come down a little more. I've seen it at that price for a while on Amazon etc.
