In what crack-addled-just-got-off-of-whirling-teacups-dizzy-and-about-to-puke-on-an-accountant-type-of-world would this product ever actually sell for $48? This is regular price for a product of this nature.
I bought the 22-in version of this at Walmart last Friday for $14.
I've got a couple of these in various sizes and really like them. They do a good job for light to medium weight stuff for the price. I use one for a range box to hold my black powder shooting supplies, and the other I keep gun cleaning tools and supplies in. They come in a variety of sized, have pretty solid locks, hinges and handles, but they're still plastic so I wouldn't buy one to hold my heaviest tools. And, that $47.59 price is absolutely an inflated MSRP that the box never actually sold for.
Thank you. This HD box is a better normal price deal.
It's actually a Black Friday item. If you go looking In-Store, you'll most likely find them with the other leftover Xmas 'Special Buy' gift stuff. And NOT stocked with the other tool boxes in the tool corral.

I've been shopping for an additional tool box lately. The Husky uses metal where it matters.
That Hyper Tough isn't very good quality-wise. And even the more expensive Hart boxes felt sketchy too.
