TVs are great, merchant is fine, but don't buy this for the warranty.

They use CPS for that warranty which is essentially useless. CPS has removed years from my warranty for no reason (I only found out because they emailed me trying to "upsell" me back those years) and refused to correct the years even with the invoice and receipt, so I had to get the merchant on the line to fight with them. Even once corrected, If you try calling them for anything they will find a way to make it impossible to complete your claim.
Sorry it happened to you but this is not a widespread issue, LG has above average reliability and is a quality TV brand, should have bought a warranty I guess?
To my eyes an OLED's PQ is superior to any LED technology I have seen.

Does the credit bring the price down to the listed price or is that an extra discount

2-4 weeks for the credit to be processed, it seems a better deal if you don't need the streaming credit which costco offers

Chase Freedom offers 5% cash back this quarter, good way to stack additional discount.

Anyone have experience with the warranty? Have found some conflicting reports that CPS warranty covers burn-in

It looks like the price listed is before credit, so if you want to do the match and take $170 off, it gets even sweeter.

Got the refurbished 65" posted earlier this week with same 4 year warranty. Hoping the $400 saved will be worth it

I tried replacing my 38 ultra wide with a 48 C1 as a monitor replacement. It didn't work for me. So, if you plan to do the same, be ready to be disappointed.
Why didn't it work for you? Using a cheapo 43" 4k tv as a monitor and was considering this jump too

At this size I don't see the point in going with OLED, downvote me all you want, but seems pointless
Depends on where you put it. Over a bar with lots of seating it will excel with off axis angles. Also depends on what LED you're comparing it to. There's only a few with as good of PQ straight on.
