New applicants for the Amazon Prime Visa card can also receive a $100 gift card instantly upon approval. This stacks with the 10% back promo (normally 5%). The card also doubles the manufacturer warranty, with an additional year of coverage.

It depends whether the Full Array Local Dimming in the X90J is of value to you. See Sony X90J vs Sony X85J Side-by-Side Comparison (https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/compare/sony-x90j-vs-sony-x85j/21562/21695?usage=1&threshold=0.10).
You also receive 5 credits to redeem on latest release movies and 12 months of unlimited streaming of Sony classics with BRAVIA CORE... with this eligible TV purchase. https://electronics.sony.com/bravia-core
I picked one up from Secondipity recently and it's still in the box. I tested it, perfect condition. Anyone wants it at a fair price, hit me up in PMs. I'm in NYC.
Edit: I am conflicted between this and the Samsung QN 85 series. I heard that viewing angles suffer in the Sony and also reflection handling is way better in Samsung. Any Sony owners please help .
If you have a wide viewing area with people sitting off to the side of the screen then IPS panels like the Samsung are probably better. Otherwise Sony has better contrast levels and a better picture in general especially for movie watching. Samsung compares a little better for watching sports and tv in bright rooms but they all do pretty well with everything. The Sony really excels in dark media rooms.
Sony has Dolby vision which is a definite plus going forward.
Unless there is a deal on the qn85 or 90 the Sony is the much better value at this price.

Thanks and repped. I saw some videos where people talked about viewing gets darker as you moved to the sides but overall it was not that bad. Also any comments on reflection handling ?
Edit : Another Question - Are we still allowed to buy from Amazon and then buy extended warranty from Costco ?
I have the 55" version of this TV. It's a nice set overall and pairs real well with my PS5. I also have a 65" Samsung Q90. The difference in brightness between the two is quite significant. Both sets offer an excellent picture. The standard between the two manufacturers really hasn't changed since flat screens became popular. Samsung is brighter and has more pop. Sony is "duller" if you will, but has excellent picture quality. I have the Sony in a darker room, and the Samsung in my main living room, which has a giant bay window and lots of natural light. I have no real complaints with either.

EDIT: You have to select amazon.com as seller. It randomly assigns a same priced seller when you open the page.

I can't attest to how a VA handles this environment as my big TV's have always been in a media room. Just going by reviews.
2) Don't see it with my regular Amazon VISA. Does it have to be the Prime card?
