This is with bestbuy, so no bill credit involved, it's instant trade in value that deducts from the sale price, and tax is on the deducted selling price too. Don't mislead others.

ATT is $100 cheaper further. $500 for mini and $600 for regular. But trade in values are horrible.

T-Mo is still the best in value overall.

Thank you so much!!! But the part I was worried about was "while keeping the promotional credits T-mobile still owes (?) me for like another 15 months? Can I just swap the SIM cards and keep the number as well as the promotional credits…?" — like, I still owe $41 every month for my current iPhone 12 Pro, but because of the phone I traded in on last Mother's Day I get like $28 as a credit every month, which makes the monthly installment $13 a month. Since I still have 15 more months to go through, I'd like to keep receiving that $28*15 when I trade in this iPhone 12 Pro and upgrade it to iPhone 13 Pro. Are you saying this is feasible by just swapping g the SIM card? X.x
Yes, you should be able to do that. But it all depends on the rep that you get. Some activate the new SIM card and some don't.

Can I do this with an iPhone 12 Pro to trade in with iPhone pro 13? What would be the cost? It's giving me an error online.

Is it worth it to upgrade a Note 8 to an iPhone 13. The total with tax is coming out to be $519. Or should I try to get an XR to trade in?
You're asking someone else if something is worth to you? Check how much you can get for Note and compare the numbers. Even if you're asking from performance difference standpoint it will depend on which factors YOU personally value/require for your own use, asking someone else to make that decision for you seems a bit.......

Can you explain this a little bit more in detail?
For upgrade now or add a new line, one need to have an account.
For new line, they make you pick a plan and there is no $20 option.

Thank You.
Can anyone explain how to open a line $20/line a month?

Do anyone know what happens if I don't activate my phone at BB but under my ATT prepaid SIM? Would I be able to make calls even if it gets locked to ATT?
The best buy employee is supposed to open the box and insert a tmobile sim. You might get lucky and they leave the box sealed. In that case you'll be fine. You may never be able to unlock it though.

Well it turns out the 2nd refurbished XR I bought is not "perfect". Looks new and mint but after I saw this deal popped up I decided to trade it in; I had charged it only and was about to reset it when I felt the bottom right corner of the screen kinda of "springy" and lifting up. Either they replaced the screen and didn't apply enough adhesive or this unit was like this. Anyways I scrambled to try to find some double sided adhesive in my fix the phone kit but couldn't get it to stick between the glass the outside shell case. I ended up using a tiny amount of crazy glue to glue that corner down to prevent that corner from popping up while I trade it in; the corner is no longer lifting up 🤞 I have no time to go through and return it and just want to trade it in. Everything is good except for that screen corner not fully flushed and glued to the frame. I'm heading to my local Best Buy to trade in the XR today
Just FYI I would not rely on crazy glue for glass repairs, it usually leaves white residue mess, doesn't work or can even damage the backlight in the screen (you will see signs of "spill" inside the screen). Best type to use is rubberized one (clear or black) I think it's called E6000 or E7000. once applied in the gap use some kind of "clamp" to keep pressure on until glue sets in (I use mini plastic clamp or even wooden clothes pins). Afterwards the leftover glue can be rubbed off or cleaned with isopropyl alcohol.

I'm pretty sure he meant ADD a line to existing account, not to open a whole new account with a line. Usually on many plans adding a line is within that range. Unless BestBuy gives OK on prepaid T-Mobile in which case buying prepaid sim and choosing cheapest (pay as you go I think) plan would suffice BUT I doubt BestBuy extends these offers to prepaid accounts.

My phones are ready for pick up. Has anyone done this in-store trade in before? What all do they want/need? Just the phone, or the charger and cable or even box? Thanks, just want to have everything when I go there.

You're not supposed to select the monthly payment, select to pay the whole amount.

Hey how does the Verizon flex unlock work. If I use my Friends iPhone sim (Verizon) to activate this iPhone 13 and return the sim to him after initial activation.. does it auto unlock after 60 days or does it need to be active on the Verizon line for 60 days to have it unlocked? Also does a new unactivated Verizon sim work or it has to be a an active phone line on Verizon? Thanks!
Active Verizon sim card will start 60 days countdown which will unlock it automatically after that time passes. No need to keep service on if the account the sim belong to is active. For example I borrowed Verizon sim from my brother and just popped it in and restarted the iphone making sure it gets Verizon service before taking it out. 60 days later it was automatically unlocked. He did keep his service so if you use the sim and then that account gets cancelled I'm not sure if that would affect the unlock though.

How is this still not front page? No need to add a line, no EIP, tax on the net price after trade in.
Last year's free upgrade from 11 to 12 was free but tax on $830 was comparable to $50+tax on this 12 to 13 deal with no EIP.
This is about as good as it gets.
Well, 8 to 12 free on EIP was good.
That was a killer deal. And then traded those 12's for 13's for around $75 👌

Just the phone that's charged enough to be turned on and checked. Make sure you have ID on you which they will need to process trade in and that the name on payment to BestBuy matches the ID.
